The town is very small, just go on foot. If you want to explore the region, the best thing is to rent a bike. You can rent bikes at the Maison Touareg Carpet store, which is on the road to the Hotel des Amandiers.

There a 2 main routes to tafrawt from the Agadir area.

Agadir>Inezgane>Ait Meloul bridge across wadi souss>Bou-Anfer south of near the Agadir_al_massira Airport>Timlaline>Ait Baha-Tizi_n_Taraktine pass>Tafraoute
Good in rental car if you start at the airport, as it avoids the busy road/traffic jam at Ait Melloul Bridge.

South to Tiznit, then East across the desert plain to Oued Assaka>Col-de-Kerdous>Jemaa.Ida.Oussemlal>Tafraout
