Chez Gerard et Francoise

Near Merzouga (1 1/2 km south from town), is my personal favorite. You can either camp out in the dunes or stay in a wonderfully decorated room. The restaurant serves delicious, huge Moroccan meals.

While it was a very nice hotel, it was destroyed in the floods of may, 2006. I am sure it will be rebuilt but as of today (December 2, 2006), it is not available.
