Auberge Berberes is a special place on the dunes of Erg Chebbi, South Morocco. The Sahara welcomes you to enjoy nature in their company!
Auberge Berberes is located right where the dunes of Erg Chebbi start. From here, as you jump out the front door you’ll be already in the dunes.
A visit to Morocco is not completed if Erg Chebbi dunes are not visited. Here you’ll enjoy fine orange sand dunes that extend as far as 30km.

Erg Chebbi Dunes are located 30km From Rissani, 50km from Erfoud. Its most well known nearby village is Merzouga. Merzouga is the most famous villages surrounding Erg Chebbi
After Rissani’s entrance gate you will take 19km of asphalt road direction Merzouga until you reach or road sign with advertising the hotel (You can see the picture aside). From the sign you will drive yourself 10km of desert tracks following the small white sticks on the tracks until you reach our hotel. You can also take the more difficult 38km desert tracks from Erfoud directly to our Hotel without passing in Rissani. If by any chance you don’t feel comfortable on doing this by yourself, they will be more than happy to wait for you on the road near the sign. contact them before you reach Rissani.

The Hotel also offers transportation services. They own 2 different businesses: Auberge and Transportation 4x4 services. This means that if you do need 4x4 services around Morocco you don’t need to go any further.

Auberge Berberes offers Single Rooms, Double Rooms, Triple Rooms and Berber Tent in Sahara. The rooms are decorated with Saharan taste and will make you enjoy each moment. Their staff will join you for that “Tea in Sahara” you always dreamt of.

You can taste the real food of Sahara and Morocco in our hotel’s restaurant. We can offer you diverse home made food made by our specialized staff. You can try our famous couscous or tajine.

Berber Tents, Bivouac
 Berber tents are without a doubt one of the best from all the tents in the region. the tents are located right on the dunes and you can have your own space and live right on the dunes. the auberge staff orientate the tents to a central communal space that has a fire place that will be the perfect thing for you to enjoy cold Sahara nights watching the starts.

Dromedary Excursions into Sahara

1-Oasis excursions
the hotel has a group of dromedaries (camels have 2 humps and they don't exist in Africa). From the hotel you can head the dunes and enter a unforgettable journey into deep Sahara, where for a couple of hours you’ll be taken  to where your mind no longer controls directions, where you’ll deliver yourself to the dunes, the starts, your guide and finally our Oasis. This price includes camel trip, guide, Oasis welcome tea,  Oasis Berber Tent, dinner, breakfast;
