Yasmina is a nice place, sometimes in the wintertime near a lake with flamingos. For the birdlovers it is an interesting place, because the desertsparow is living here. Yasmina has very comfortable rooms, nicely decorated in modern moroccan style. Of course every room has a shower with hot and cold water and WC. In the summertime you can sleep outside on the roof, looking at the beautiful stars. You can also spend the night in a traditional Berbertent . Chez Gerard et Francoise

Near Merzouga (1 1/2 km south from town), is my personal favorite. You can either camp out in the dunes or stay in a wonderfully decorated room. The restaurant serves delicious, huge Moroccan meals.

While it was a very nice hotel, it was destroyed in the floods of may, 2006. I am sure it will be rebuilt but as of today (December 2, 2006), it is not available.
