Desert Music Festival

A Music Festival takes place in the desert. In the Rissani-Erford region musicians from Niger, Mali, Algeria, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Morocco take part.

Morocco's musical bands are Lhamri, Dabdo and El Meskaoui. Alla band is from Algeria and Makamane Barka and Etran Finatawa are from Niger. Adaman Yaloma is from Mali.

African ballets are from Senegal, RUM is from Jordan and Mint Ely Warakane is from Mauritania.

Moroccan dances are by El Khamlia, Guedra and Dabdo. Saudi Arabia's dances are by Arda de Najd and Bororo dances from Niger.

National Date Fair

From 29 September to 2 October at Erfoud the National Date Fair organized by the Regional Office takes place to valorize the agricultural, social and econimical importance of this region.

International Congress on Medicinal Plants

One of the many international events that take place in Errachidia, "The International Congress on Medicinal Plants" is a collaboration in scientific research to promote social and economical development. It is sponsored by the Faculty of Science and Techniques at the Moulay Ismail University of Errachidia.
