Nightlife and Entertainment in TakoradiEdit This
Takoradi is located in the beautiful country of Ghana. Takoradi nightlife is always full of fun and entertainment. If you are up for some fun after the sun goes down there are several options to keep you entertained.
The Hacidenda is considered the place to see and be seen. There is always good music playing and lots of people ready to party the night away. Keep in mind that the Hacienda doesn't offer food but there is a kebab make right outside the club if you desire a bite to eat. The meat is tasty and safe to eat.
The Container is a lively place to spend the evening. Start off with dinner on the balcony and enjoy the sights below. You usually have a good view of the street performers while eating on the balcony. There is live music and DJ's playing all different types of music. The crowd consist of mostly locals but don't let that scare you off. You will get a feel for how the people of Ghana party!
The Havana is located off the beaten path. You will normally find the Havana full of locals enjoying their evening. You will enjoy good food, great service and night full of great entertainment. Between the music and the street performers you are sure to have a good time at the Havana.
Spice nightclub is considered to be a more traditional nightclub. You will find the DJ's spinning tracks from popular musicians to less known international music. Spice nightclub has a great BBQ that should not be missed. You will also want to dress to impress if you plan on checking out spice. Spice has a fully stocked bar and if you are up for trying something new as your bartender to make you his or her signature drink.
When enjoying a night on the town women can pretty much wear whatever they are comfortable in. Men should wear long pants and a nice shirt. Most bars and nightclubs don't allow sweaters or shorts. You should keep in mind that Africans are very friendly people. Some Americans and Europeans might get offended by the friendly affection shown by the locals. Keep in mind that this is there way of being friendly. When going to some of the bars and nightclubs off the main path try to stay in a group.
