Eating Out in Kokrobite
Edit ThisBarbara's Village
Edit ThisIf you want a great home-made meal, you should go to barbara's Village, a new place somehow elderly lady from Europe started a few months ago!
Start a day with a continental or african breakfast from 1$. Than dip your fingers, literally, into tasty Ghanaian cuisine: fufu, banku, kenky, red-red… lots of seafood, which you can pick-out yourself on the beach from local fishermen.
You'll be dining or having lunch or a beer under the biggest thatched roof in Africa (according to the locals!) or in the restaurant with the view over the sea.

Mafioso's
Edit ThisCan you believe probably the best pizza I've ever had was on the beach at Kokrobite? The locals refer to the yellow, thatch-roofed hut as 'Mafiosos.' An Italian ex-pat has open a pizza stand that cooks the best, thin crust pizza made with fresh, local ingredients. Fairly inexpensive, as pizza goes in Africa.
It's just up the road from Big Millys, a rest-stop/restaurant right on the beach. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
