Shopping in Accra
Edit ThisAccra Mall
Edit ThisA beautiful and modern shopping center just a few minutes drive from Kotoka International airport. Accra Mall was built in 2007 and it is a lot like any shopping center in London or America. There are a lot of first class shops including South Africa's 'game' and 'shoprite'.

Herb Market (Fetish Market)
Edit ThisThis is located inside the Timber Market, Accra. It's the place where the traditional priests (fetish priests) come to buy the things needed for their magic and healing. Animal skeletons, skins, juju dolls and dried plants are available. The juju dolls make good souvenirs.
To get there go to UTC in Central Accra and turn down the raod on the right. Walk to the end and turn left. You'll see a big tree on the right down the road and a small path leading to the fetish market. Ask all the way there to check your route.
You won't spend more than 30 minutes there so walk through more..

Arts centre
Edit ThisThis market lays right at the coast, actually ON a beach (but if you wouldn't want to go there for a romantic walk or a swim) It's on the road woming from Independance Squara, next to the Nkrumah Mausoleum. It's a very good place to get craftworks, either beads, drums, fertility statues or fabrics.
