By Air
Probably the quickest and easiest way to arrive in Sharm is through Sharm el Sheikh's Ophira International Airport. The Sharm airport services many airlines, with most flights arriving from Europe and the Middle East. If you are traveling from the America's, Asia, or South Pacific you may find yourself flying via Cairo, and then onto Sharm. There are many domestic airlines that run services daily from Cairo to Sharm.
By Sea
There is a ferry company called International Fast Ferries that operates high speed ferry service from Hurghada on the Red Sea Coast. This line runs four times per week and isn't the most reliable. The ride is approximately 90 minutes, and very bumpy.
By Land
Sharm el Sheikh can be reached by car from most parts of Egypt, and there are daily buses that operates between most Egyptian cities to Sharm. Traveling by land can be a bit of a hassle due to the many checkpoints, but the drive is very scenic and well worth it. Be very careful in the main bus terminals, keep you belongings close to you at all times, and watch for pickpockets.
