Getting Around in Sharm el Sheikh
Edit ThisSharm el Sheikh Transportation
The easiest method for travel while visiting the town of Sharma el Sheikh, in Egypt, is by taxi. The only thing that an adventurer to this arid and dry beauty in the desert has to do is raise their arm (either one will do), then almost instantly, a cab appears. The amount of taxis that will come flying up will startle the traveler, who will wonder where they were all hiding. There is no definition to this occurrence except that waiting for a cab in Sharm el Sheikh is like waiting for the town to heat up - it never stops.
Methods of Travel in Sharm el Sheikh
While the blue and white taxis (only use these) are the preferred mode of transportation in Sharm el Sheikh, the cab is not the only game in town. There is the bi-pedal motivational movement otherwise known as walking to get from point A to point B, and while this is great for short jaunts to the market or the store, it's quite a different story for a long adventure. One must recall at all times this is the Mideast and the desert. Hot and risky, so take a cab and save us all some worry.
