Bars and Cafes in Hurghada

Edit This

Hurghada, being a popular tourist beach resort, has several sea-side bars and cafes, located on private beaches. The stretch opposite the boulevard and the central town section also has dozens of Bedouin bars and traditional Shisha cafes, where visitors get together once they have completed a day of diving sessions. Here is a guide to the bars and cafes in Hurghada.

Little Buddha

Little Buddha from faraway Paris has come knocking at Hurghada's door to sweep tourists off their feet with its trendy cocktails and chic ambiance. Everything about the place radiates class and sophistication, and some of the most well-heeled locals and tourists can be spotted enjoying the night away in the stylish confines of the bar. The restaurant serves excellent Sushi and once it is  11 p.m., the place suddenly transforms from a polished, elegant bar to a boisterous nightclub. The Buddha Bar is located at Sinbad Resort at Village Road.

The Ministry of Sound

The former Papas Beach Club is now a part of the Ministry of Sound Bar, London. Located on the beach near Sakkala, the bar has the DJ from the London Ministry of Sound flying in regularly to play great tunes. There are several theme nights and the bar serves a nice array of cocktails and wines.

Hard Rock Café

This quaint café features an old-worldly-style of charm complete with a guitar, old photographs adorning the walls and an incredible collection of rock memorabilia. The open-air seating, a stylish pool bar with wooden stools and great music churned by a talented DJ are some for the reasons this place is such a rage with tourists. The café is located at Alkora Road in Alnawara Center.

Dutch Bar

The Dutch Bar located at Villages Road inside the Princess Hotel is one of the oldest bars is town and is known for its kitsch appeal and snazzy interiors.

Papas Bar

The Papas Bar (located at the Hurghada Marina Boulevard) is nothing short of a nightlife institution in Hurghada. Everything about this place is path-breaking and trend setting--be it the stylish atmosphere, big-screen sports action, live musical performances, quiz-nights, pool competitions and the Big Daddy Burger. There have been several imitations of the iconic Papas Bar, but nothing quite comes close to this party destination that has both tourists and locals swooning over its smooth persona. The old Papas Bar has made way for a more chic venue with double the capacity of the earlier bar.

Hughada’s nightlife destinations cater mainly to the tourist population who head to the attractive beach-side bars and coastal night clubs and islands to let their hair down post hectic water sports activities.
