Touggourt Travel Guide

Touggourt is located in the south of Algeria. With a population of over 300,000 it is one of the biggest cities of the Sahara.

From a touristic perspective the desert around and the date palm groves are the biggest draws. The tombs of the Beni Djellab kings are an important place of pilgrimage for the locals.

The city has quite some hotels and restaurants.
